Princess Margaret Home Lottery

Princess Margaret Hospital is currently running their Lottery for Cancer Research in Ontario. They’re offering 33,000 prizes. With 330,000 tickets to sell, this is sure to be a big fundraiser for the hospital.

Future Shop offered to support the Princess Margaret Welcome Home Sweepstakes 2009 by providing some electronic items.
Admirable, but wait a minute.
When it came time for the prize winners, of which I am one, to pick up their prize from the store the item offered was not the item listed on the winners letter.
In fact, it was an inferior item.
What a rip off……not for me, but this “bait & switch” is against the good people at the Princess Margaret Cancer Research centre.
I sure won’t enter their sweepstakes again and I’ll be sure all my friends know how this develops….and so we all loose!
I actually expected Future Shop to try and “upsell me” into a bigger more expensive item.
Never considered they would pull such a low act as a “bait & switch.”
They are clearly acting in bad faith and that reflects poorly on the organizers.
All it takes is one bad apple and this conduct goes to prove that you can’t stop looking over your shoulder for a second because there is always somebody trying to take advantage.
It’s like a Boy Scout picking the old ladies pocket as he helps her across the street…!
It’s just a head shaker….why would they even bother?
I JUST want to see the winning numbers on line
