Is this a scam or what. I too cannot find the web sight showing the winning numbers for May 17 drawing. It should be posted clear and simply. So where do I look.

There are several links – both in the original post and in subsequent replies. The PMHF Lottery site is easily located and the links posted here work correctly. I don’t know why you can’t find the winners.

Since the info related to marketing the tickets is so clear, the info on winning tickets should be as clear. We are the same people who will buy future tickets so our importance does not diminish after we have purchased current tickets. The suggestion that we go to courses on navigating websites in order to get info on winners is ridiculous – nobody asks us to attend courses in order to buy tickets. Also all info should show clearly the specific number of lottery, not just the year since in one year there can be and are more than one lotteries.

  4. Lyn says:

Cash Prize of $100 to continue to support future or other lotteries is better than winning 100 The Brick Gift Card

  5. I strongly believe that when its the home lottery , firstly there is no need to have multi million homes, homes in the five hundred thousand to six hundred thousand range is sufficient , therefore more homes can be given for prizes , seems to me thats the way the home lottery started out ! Secondly again from my point of view and others that I speak to, we believe that the BMWs that go with the homes should be seperate prizes , making more winners ,after all winning a home is certainly exciting and a big enough prize ! ——–Trevor Butler

I copletely agree with Trevor…why just make one person stinking rich…they should have a lot more mid range prizes, so more people benefit.

  6. Greg Verner says:

I was a winner of 2 prizes in the PMGH Lotteries.
I have had difficulty using the $100 Gift from The Brick. When I tried to use it as part of a recent furniture purchase, it would not register. How can I correct the problem.

I would suggest contacting the PMHF lottery. If you have trouble contacting them, then contact the Princess Margaret Hospital foundation themselves and they should be able to give you proper contact information. This should be something they can easily straighten out.

  7. Lloyd Dufour says:

Cannot locate winning numbers for May 27, 2009 or December 3, 2008 lottery. Web site links display current lottery promotion only. Thanks for providing assistance. Lloyd

I too have tryed to see this list of winners. I tryed every site you have said as well as others there are no lists and there are no phone numbers if you want people to buy your tickets be honest and put the lists up with out a fuss I am going to call the news station to report this if by the end of the day I can not find the list this is unexceptable

You have to remember that Dream Lottery Canada is only a web site that is listing Canadian charitable lotteries we know about. We try to post information and links so that people like yourself can find what they’re looking for more easily, but if a lottery updates it’s pages or removes a winners list, that’s out of our control. Please take this up with the lottery itself.

Please contact the hospital foundation and ask them to point you in the right direction.

    • admin says:

Please contact the hospital foundation directly if you are having trouble on their web site. Dream Lottery Canada is merely a site where we list the Canadian charitable lotteries that we know about.

I think the poster from today is looking for the winners in the “PMHF Welcome Home Lottery”. The final prize draw was today. If someone honestly expects that 26K worth of prizes can be selected and logged on a web site within minutes, they need to get a reality check … (poster commented at 8:34 a.m. .. final prize draw was at (9;00 a.m. on City TV)

Good luck to those who bought tickets!!

Good things come to those who wait………….I’m waiting too. As long asI am waiting the dream is still alive ha ha.

Very Poor web hosting. Links are all screwd up. User Unfriendly Need More Improvements.Winners link is telling different thing. Very disappointing.

  11. Jonathan says:

I can’t find the winners list either but as someone whose wife has been fighting cancer for 3 years it isn’t the end of the world that I can’t find it. I buy 3 tickets every draw and to be honest while a prize is would be great it’s more worth while to me to be simply contribute to the fight. The lottery has always done a lot to make sure everyone gets their prizes and if a link is missing or there is some glitch it isn’t worth publicly embarrasing yourself on an open forum like this. I come to this website quite frequently and it’s not for the lottery…(yes there is useful information on this site regarding cancer aside from wonderful prizes) It’s quite frankly upsetting to see people threating to send letters or calling the lottery a scam, getting all dramatic when at the end of the day, prize or not, your life goes back to normal. There are thousands of others who are faced losing their lives or like myself go back to watching our loved ones fade away every day. It is a shame that, for some, the real reason for this lottery has been lost to greed and impatience. You can always just call the lottery and ask for a direct link to the prize list.

  12. Jonathan says:

FYI the PMHF “Welcome Home Lottery” winners will be listed on the 17th of December as it states directly on the site.

PMH may not be a lottery scam but leaves a lot to be desired in their functioning and specially in making info. available to lottery buyers. Even though the draw for top 9 awards has taken place in the morning – there is no place to find who the winners are. Such un-transparent acts make buyers wonder about what exactly is going on behind the scenes. Even the early bird prize draw that was done few months back was a black hole. I had to call to find out who the winner was – this could have been easily posted on PMH site immediately after the draw.
Anything that is not transparent always leads to suspicion.
Its almost as if PMH or at least the PMH website is being run by either scammers, technophobes, old farts or plain stupid red necks.
Doesn’t reflect well on PMH foundation either.
Maybe someone will wake up from the coma and become active if not proactive

  15. Izabela says:

Hi, where can I search by ticket number if I have won anything, like I was able to do it last year. Thanks

  16. Irene Power says:

Unless I’m blind (and I know I’m not) there is nothing on their website showing the prizewinners.

  17. Conchetta says:

I too believe that there should be less multi million homes for winnings! Many people would be ecstatic about winning a home in the five to seven hundred thousand range. It might be better if there were less large prizes and fewer prizes in the lowest range; creating more bigger winnings, for most winners. As well, most people who can afford to buy a 100 dollar ticket can afford to buy 100 dollar gadgets and items that are a few thousand dollars. I do like the fact that winners can opt to get the cash. As many people who win a trip for example, could really use the cash instead. If this option was not available, many people would likely refrain from buying a ticket in the future.

  18. I mean, where is the winners’ list? None of the links work ..how is one to check?

  19. robert gallagher says:

Would have been nice to easily find the winners list, couldn’t do it, they say stress can cause cancer. Nice job adding to my stress!! I buy lots of $100.00 tickets, Heart and Stroke will now get my Cancer Money, no problem finding their list. But!! That is so typical of IT people.

It appears I am not alone by some of the comments, stop making excuses and make it easy.
