Thanks to you, over the past two decades, the Kinsmen Children’s Hospital Home Lotto has provided more than $22 million in funding to help save and improve young lives.

Every year, one in four kids in Calgary – and thousands more across the province – rely on care from our hospital because they are sick or injured. And every year, regardless of economic times, Kinsmen Lotto supporters have helped give those kids the best care possible.

About the causes

• Full House Lottery is in its 17th year of operation supporting both the University Hospital Foundation and the Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation.
• In the previous 16 years, Full House Lottery has raised over $42 million towards the growing needs of Albertans in critical areas such as cardiac MRI technology, neonatal intensive care, organ transplantations and advanced medical research.
• This year, proceeds from Full House Lottery will support cardiac care at both the University of Alberta Hospital and the Royal Alexandra Hospital.

A few years ago, we identified a project to leave a lasting legacy in the City of Edmonton – the redevelopment of Inner City High School. As a cornerstone in the City of Edmonton’s downtown east development plan, the Foundation is planning for the redevelopment of a high school to meet the needs of future generations of young people in our community. And that’s in addition to the other organizations we support.

This year, with your help, we plan to give kids a safe place to sleep, make sure they have something to eat, and make their days a bit brighter. We’ll provide families with emergency services, protect those in danger, and fund cancer research. We’ll set up scholarships, support education programs and continue to fund agencies that offer a wide range of support services to youth, education, and health and wellness.
